A south-side 1BR is about $304 and food is $218, with SIM at $6 and a Honda Vision at $76–$91. A real beach city with cheaper inland apartments, paid for in a thin coworking scene.
Climate. Hot year-round; the stay-changer is a short Sep–Dec wet season peaking in November, not HCMC’s long monsoon.
Airport. Cam Ranh International (CXR), typically 35–50 min from VCN Phước Hải / south Nha Trang.
Healthcare. In-city at Vinmec Nha Trang on Trần Phú — no hop required for standard private care.
Amenities. Complete enough: Co.opmart Nha Trang at 02 Lê Hồng Phong is a full supermarket, a short hop from VCN Phước Hải.

Visa
No digital nomad visa as of 2026. Standard path is the 90-day e-visa (~$25 single / $50 multiple, all nationalities), not extendable in-country. Remote work for a foreign employer is a legal grey zone. Moderate. Cam Ranh is about 40 minutes south with some international routes plus easy domestic hops to SGN/HAN.
